Read the latest issue of diesseits!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Issue 128 of <em>diesseits <\/em>is dedicated to one of the most important topics of our time: man-made climate change.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Editor Erwin Kress writes in the editorial:  <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;We are experiencing the consequences of our actions: rising sea levels, massive loss of species in the animal and plant world, shrinking habitats and resources and, as a result, the risk of famines, refugee movements and new distribution struggles for land, water and food.  <\/p><p>Every day that we do not finally take countermeasures or even continue as before, we endanger our own livelihoods &#8211; and those of future generations. And yet the decisive steps are not being taken.&#8221; <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>In the current issue, we therefore take a look at the obstacles to our own actions and ask ourselves how we can overcome them. What is our relationship with nature? Why do we eat animals?
