David Driese is a social pedagogue, systemic consultant, facilitator and manager. As an experienced educator and long-standing head of humanistic life skills teaching in Berlin and Brandenburg, he brings extensive expertise to further strengthen the subject nationwide and make it fit for the future. With him, a distinguished specialist and political expert is taking on nationwide responsibility for Humanistic Life Skills.
David Driese has been a volunteer at the Humanist Association Berlin-Brandenburg since 1998, including in humanist youth education. From 2016 to 2018, he headed the Education/Humanist Life Studies department. He has been a member of the state board since 2018 and the board of the Humanistische Hochschule Berlin since 2021.
In his new role as Federal Commissioner, he will work closely with the state associations to shape the further development of the content and structure of life skills lessons in the states.
