The Humanistische Hilfswerk Deutschlands e.V. has set itself the task of organizing aid after disasters and other humanitarian emergencies and helping to improve living conditions. It also stands up for people who are fundamentally and permanently denied their human rights and restricted in the free development of their personality.
The aid organization helps people to lead a life in dignity – and acts in the spirit of humanism, tolerance and solidarity. The work and projects are aimed at all people, regardless of their origin, religion or ideology, sexual orientation, gender or physical and mental characteristics.
The charity is recognized as a non-profit organization and works according to the criteria of the DZI donation seal for fundraising and use of funds.
