Young Humanists International is the world’s largest humanist youth organization. More than 40,000 members are networked globally and are involved in regional groups all over the world. The aim is to strengthen the humanist idea among young people worldwide and locally.
The umbrella organization is divided into an African, American, Asian and European working group. The Bundesverband Junge Humanist*innen is part of the latter. Youth organizations can network and coordinate in these forums.
In order to facilitate encounters between young humanists, Young Humanists International organizes meetings all over the world. There are also projects and studies aimed at promoting democracy and human rights. Through lobbying at the United Nations and the European Union, the youth organization campaigns on behalf of young, non-denominational people.
