Humanism to Go – the new Federal Association podcast

Humanismus to go
To mark World Humanist Day on June 21, the Humanist Association of Germany | Federal Association is launching its new podcast, “Humanismus to go.” This monthly talk show makes humanist perspectives accessible, relatable, and socially relevant.

The podcast “Humanismus to go” focuses on conversations with people who live and shape humanism or are shaped by humanist values. Host Karina Berg talks with her guests about personal experiences, social issues, and the importance of a humanist outlook in everyday life.

The podcast was born out of a desire to develop new and contemporary forms of communication for humanist topics. “Humanismus to go” is deliberately aimed not only at those already involved in humanism, but at everyone interested in issues of coexistence, responsibility, self-determination, and social orientation.

Tim Eriksson serves as the project’s editorial director. The theater educator, voice artist, and media culture scholar brings his experience in audio production, storytelling, and creative outreach to the format. The project is supported by a team of humanities enthusiasts with experience in hosting, public relations, editorial work, and association activities.

The plan is to hold a monthly discussion series featuring different guests. The focus will not be on theoretical debates, but rather on personal perspectives and the question of how humanism can be put into practice today. A new episode will be released every third Sunday of the month.

Through this podcast, the Humanist Association of Germany | Federal Association is also helping to make humanist voices more visible and audible in public discourse. Further information and the first episodes will be available shortly at humanismus.de/podcast.
