Thuringia

The Thuringian regional association of the HVD was founded in 2009. After an interim break, work was resumed in 2015. The HVD Thuringia is a young and still small association: We have 21 members and would be delighted to hear from anyone who is interested and would like to get involved in our association!

The HVD Thuringia is a member of Paritätische Thüringen, among others. In our practical work, we organize events on living wills, educational events on current topics of practical humanism, offer humanistic naming ceremonies, weddings and funeral speeches in cooperation with the Humanist Freethinkers of Baden-Württemberg. We have been organizing a monthly Humanist Forum in Jena since 2018. In 2017 and 2019, we were successfully represented at the Thuringia Days in Apolda and Sömmerda, among others.
