The Federal Association of Young Humanists in Germany (Bundesverband der Jungen Humanistinnen und Humanisten in Deutschland e.V. – Bundes JuHu) is an association of humanist youth organizations from eight German states that organize themselves collectively on the basis of a humanist worldview. The aim is to network, cooperate and support the affiliated members and thus also to promote the interests of young people and to jointly represent their interests in public.

In addition to numerous offers, such as youth association work and the promotion of voluntary work, extracurricular and political youth education, youth work in sports and games, as well as work-related and school-related youth work, activities for children and youth recreation, youth counseling and parental work also play a decisive role.

At the JugendFEIER, the humanistic youth consecration ceremony, humanistic values such as tolerance, self-determination, responsibility and solidarity are also taught as part of the transition to adulthood.

International youth work is also a field of activity of the JuHu Federal Association, which is active within the framework of Young Humanists International.

At the Federal JuHu Meetings, which have been held annually since 2009, members of the regional associations have the opportunity to take part in workshops together, exchange ideas and have a say at the general meeting.
