Humanist Initiative Schleswig-Holstein

Bild: Jens J. Reinke

The Humanist Initiative, founded in October 2018, has set itself the goal of making humanism, as represented by the HVD, better known in Germany’s northernmost federal state. In the long term, the initiative wants to promote the establishment of its own state association, which will provide the people of Schleswig-Holstein with all the social and cultural services that are already a matter of course in other federal states.

If you would like to support the Humanist Initiative Schleswig-Holstein, you can find all the information you need at: www.humini.de.

The contact person for questions, ideas and suggestions is Jan-Christian Petersen.

The Humanist Regional Association Halle-Saalkreis e. V. (HRV) was founded in the summer of 2000 (previously the Humanist Regional Association). Its members are guided by the principles of secularism, self-determination, individuality, solidarity and tolerance, among others. The association provides support, advice and assistance, regardless of ethical background, nationality, gender or ideology. As a secular cultural organization, the association organizes secular-humanistic youth celebrations and also offers naming ceremonies. It supports the ethical discourse in all areas of society and is responsible for a wide range of social, educational and cultural activities. Its services include, for example, debtor and insolvency counseling, a musical instrument cabinet and a women’s information center in the “alternativE” community center.
