Humanist Association of Germany supports demand for a federal quality law for childcare facilities

Bundesqualitaetsgesetz-KiTa
In the opinion of many organizations, the "Gute-KiTa-Gesetz", which has been in force since 2019, does not meet its objectives. A broad civil society alliance, including the HVD, is therefore calling for significant improvements and a clear commitment to the further development of the framework conditions in child daycare through a new federal quality law.

An alliance of 38 associations, including the Humanist Association of Germany, which runs numerous daycare centers in various federal states, and various individuals are calling on the parties in the Bundestag and the new federal government to keep their promise of better quality for all daycare centers. We are calling for a federal quality law with binding standards. This should ensure equal opportunities for all children, regardless of where they live, and good working conditions for all professionals.

The Humanist Association of Germany calls on its members and partners to support the demands for nationwide, structural quality standards. Sign here for a federal quality law: www.gew.de/kita-weiter-denken
